When did we get to the point where saying "Merry Christmas" was considered offensive? What day is it supposed to be? Labor day?
Come on, people. Not everything is directed towards you personally and meant as a personal attack. If you don't celebrate Christmas because of the religion, God bless you, but how does it offend you? Did I say it just to spite you? Is it part of my evil master plan to subdue all non-Christians? Maybe it was just me trying to be kind. Nah. That's just ridiculous.
If a Jew said to me "Happy Hanukkah" I would respond with that. Maybe I'm not a real American. A real American responds with a lawsuit, am I right? Oh, sorry, I just offended Americans, not that it was hard.
Not everything is racist, not everything is sexist, and not everything is homophobic. People need to grow a slightly thicker skin.
Now, I don't mean that you should go around maliciously attempting to be a jerk and offend people. That's wrong. However, this is directed towards those who worship this new Politically Correct society in which we all live and that which we are all brainwashed to obey without question. It is a little sickening. It goes beyond the whole "Merry Christmas" issue. Everything seems to be offensive. I don't understand it. My friends, ask yourselves why you're offended by something before you fly off the handle. Maybe, just maybe, it is your mistake instead of someone else for a change.
And perhaps, just perhaps, if we can all stop with this nonsense of being offended by every little thing, there'll be a little more peace and unity in the world. I believe in my heart that until we end this PC culture that we have fabricated, there will never be real peace or tolerance in the world.
God bless all of you!
